Scholarships

SoACE is offering two scholarships to our career services professional and employer members. One scholarship will provide a maximum of $2,000 to be used for a professional development program, event, resources, or certification toward a related activity of your choice. The other scholarship will provide a maximum of $1,500 to be used for the SoACE Employer Relations Summit. Applications are now open through February 28th.

The scholarship must be used by April 1, 2026. 

We will also open applications for scholarships to attend the SoACE Annual Conference and to participate in the SoACE LEAD Program during Summer 2025.

Submit an Application

Qualifications:

  1. Career Services Professional – Active employment within a college or university career services or experiential education center within the SoACE region.
  2. Employers – Active employment with an employer in the field of HR located within the SoACE region (those with college recruiting responsibilities will be given preference).
  3. Membership in SoACE.
  4. Preference will be given to professionals with:
    1. Two or more years of full-time experience in career services, recruiting, or related field and who have been given, or who aspire to, a managerial position and,
    2. Whose institution/organization has not had a recipient of the SoACE Professional Development Scholarships or the SoACE Fellowship in the past two years and,
    3. Demonstrated financial need for the scholarship and,
    4. Demonstrated involvement in an –ACE organization (NACE, SoACE, or state ACE).
  5. Completed application and requested materials.
