The SoACE blog serves as a dynamic space where members can share insights, explore emerging trends, and contribute to the advancement of our profession.
We invite SoACE members to submit blog posts that spark conversations, highlight best practices, and provide research-driven perspectives that enhance our collective knowledge. By sharing your experiences and expertise, you help shape the future of our field while supporting the professional growth of your peers.
Whether you're discussing new challenges in employer relations, best practices in experiential education, or data-driven approaches to career advising, your voice matters. Join us in building a rich resource of thought leadership that strengthens our profession and supports the success of students and employers alike.

Submission Guidelines
Content Requirements
- Blog posts must relate to one or more SoACE Knowledge Groups.
- Submissions should fit into one of these categories: Trends & Issues, Best Practices, or Research & Reviews.
- Content must be original and not previously published elsewhere.
Writing & Formatting
- Formatting: Submit blog as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file with formatting (e.g., headings, hyperlinks, bullet points, etc.) as you would like it published
- Length: typically, 600–800 words
- Structure: Use headings, subheadings, bullet points, and short paragraphs for readability.
- Visuals: Include relevant images, infographics, or videos (with proper attribution).
Submission & Review Process
- Citations: Any citations should be formatted according to APA 7 standards with appropriate in-text citations and references
- Submissions will be reviewed by the Communications and Marketing Committee and the relevant KG(s) for quality and alignment with guidelines.
- Authors may receive feedback and revision requests before publication.
- Expect a 6-8-week timeline for review, editing, and publishing.
- Contact the Communications and Marketing Committee with any questions.
