Our 2025 Conference takes us to the Omni Nashville Hotel, in Nashville, TN from Tuesday, December 9 - Friday, December 12.

Conference Scholarship

SoACE is offering one $2,000 scholarship to support attendance at the Annual SoACE Conference for our career services professional and employer members. Applications must be received by Friday, July 11, 2025

Annual Conference Scholarship Application

Qualifications: 

1. Career Services Professional – Active employment within a college or university career services or experiential education center within the SoACE region.
2. Employers – Active employment with an employer in the field of HR located within the SoACE region (those with college recruiting responsibilities will be given preference).
3. Membership in SoACE.
4. Preference will be given to professionals with:
   1. Two or more years of full-time experience in career services, recruiting, or related field and who have been given, or who aspire to, a managerial position and,
   2. Whose office has not had a recipient of the SoACE Professional Development Scholarships or the SoACE Fellowship in the past two years and,
   3. Demonstrated financial need for the scholarship and,
   4. Demonstrated involvement in an –ACE organization (NACE, SoACE, or state ACE).
5. Completed application and requested materials.

2025 Conference Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy:
To transfer a registration to a colleague, please contact the SoACE Office at [email protected].
Please note: additional charges may apply if a registration is transferred from a member to a nonmember.

All cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing.

• Any refund requests received before October 31 (5 PM EST) will receive a full refund minus the $75 administrative fee.
• Any refund request received between October 31 - November 22 will receive a 50% refund.
• Any requests received after November 22 at 5 PM EST will receive no refund.
• No-shows at the SoACE Conference are not eligible for a credit or refund.

The conference may be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, registration fees will be refunded; however, SoACE will not be responsible for additional costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, and/or travel agencies.

SoACE is not responsible for weather-related travel delays or other issues in regard to personal travel and no refunds will be given due to these occurrences.

Accreditation:

SoACE is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEPTM) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events (or programs) that meet NBCC requirements. Sessions (or programs) for which NBCC-approved clock hours will be awarded are identified in the program bulletin (or in the catalogue or Web site). The ACEP is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.

SoACE is an HRCI approved Continuing Education Provider and may offer HRCI approved clock hours for events or programs that meet HRCI requirements.
