Upcoming Events:

2020 Virtual Employer Relations Summit

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the SoACE Board of Directors has decided to change the format for the 2020 Employer Relations Summit from in-person to virtual. We feel this adjustment is in the best interest of our members to ensure everyone remains safe during this time of uncertainty while still allowing for the exchange of ideas and best practices. The planning committee is already moving forward with putting together an excellent event, and we are excited that hosting the event virtually will allow even more members to participate. Program Considerations
We are looking for a variety of programming this year, so please consider submitting programs that would be of benefit to both career services professionals as well as our employer members either within a technology and/or marketing theme. Proposal collaborations are also highly encouraged!

We invite you to consider a proposal that (but is not limited to):

  • Addresses challenges while working with students or clients while integrating technology
  • Demonstrates the use of micro-credentialing through badges and certificates
  • Reviews data visualization tools and/or project management tools and how your space uses it
  • Showcases creative and innovative uses of technology in the workplace
  • Informs the audience about a recent marketing process or technology shift that has worked well with capturing the attention of the current generation of students - Generation Z
  • Demonstrates how employers are utilizing technology and strategic marketing tactics to attract and onboard new talent for jobs or internships
  • Forecasts the future of technology in our workplace
  • Highlights how you/your office has used technology through COVID-19

All presentations are done virtually in Eastern Standard Time (EST) and will be no longer than 1-hour in length. If you have any specific questions regarding a potential proposal submission, please reach out to Danielle Golinski ([email protected]).
